Top Tens

Welcome to the top tens page. Here we will show you some awesome stats about sharks, read on to find out about the biggest, most dangerous and fastest sharks!!

THE MOST DANGEROUS SHARKS TO HUMANS
10. The lemon shark
9.The blue shark
8.The great hammerhead shark
7.The sand tiger shark
6.The gray reef shark
5.The shortfin mako shark
4.The oceanic whitetip shark
3.The tiger shark
2.The great white shark
1.The bull shark

CONCLUSION
I totally agree with the top four, yet I struggle to believe that the shortfin mako shark is more dangerous than the great hammerhead. I also believe that it is more likely that the gray reef shark has attacked less people than the carribean reef shark which in turn should have attacked less than the blue shark and the  lemon shark.

THE LARGEST SHARKS
10.The bigeye thresher
9.The bluntnose sixgill shark
8.The thresher shark
7.The great hammerhead shark
6.The greenland shark
5.The pacific sleeper shark
4.The tiger shark
3.The great white shark
2.The basking shark
1.The whale shark

CONCLUSION
WHAT!!!!!!! How is this possible?Every site or book I look at has this answer, yet where is the megamouth shark? Surely it's bigger than the great white, if not, definitely bigger than the thresher. Come back to this page soon to see if I find anything else!!

MOST ENDANGERED SHARKS
10. Borneo Shark
9. Whitefin Topeshark
8. Striped Smooth Houndshark
7. Angel Shark
6. Daggerose Shark
5. Natal Shyshark
4. Pondicherry Shark
3. New Guinea River Shark
2. Irrawaddy River Shark
1. Ganges River Shark

CONCLUSION
This seems to be a very reasonable list. It is only logical that river sharks will be more endangered than others, since their habitats are far smaller and also suffer more from human interference, especially the Ganges River Shark, since the Ganges River is one of the most polluted Rivers in the world. I was quite surprised to see the Angel Shark on that list, considering they are ground dwelling sharks, but that must leave them open to death from trawler fishing, especially considering that they live in theNorth Sea, Atlantic Ocean and English Channel, where trawler fishing is most common.

MY FAVOURITE SHARKS
10.The tasselled wobbegong shark
9.The sand tiger shark
8.The swell shark
7.The megamouth shark
6.The great hammerhead shark
5.The lemon shark
4.The bonnethead shark
3.The silvertip shark
2.The shortfin mako shark
1.The blue shark

CONCLUSION
I obviously can't disagree with this list.I like blue sharks for everything, makos for speed, silvertips for territorial protection, bonnetheads for niftiness and lemon sharks for teamwork. Great hammerheads for being majestic, megamouths for rarity, swell sharks because they are the first type of shark I ever touched, sand tigers for their amazing teeth and wobbegongs for their camouflage.
